February 2010 ~ Overview
This month is about re-awakening dreams, and reaching back into all the shattered fragments of our pasts to salvage what we can discard and what can be reconstructed in our futures.
The first week is tense; kicking off with a Saturn-Pluto square, reminding us like a nasty hangover of all the financial and circumstantial woes from 2009. There is however a positive shine on this as we are looking back in order to move forwards. Rather than being saddened by loss and struggle; look at how much you’ve learned, grown and developed in the last 12 or so months! The past is over and the future is only just beginning, it is important this month to look forwards at the potential.
By the 6th ideas and plans will begin to take shape, Jupiter make his mark in compatible Pisces and will be providing some feelings of new beginnings. There is much yet which needs to be rearranged for most of us and the impatience of not being able to make big changes ‘yet’ will pervade at the same time. Faith is all that’s required and once the initial fears and frustrations are acknowledged the new week will begin on a hopeful note.
With Mercury moving into Aquarius on 10th minds will be sharper and the second week in February will feel far more productive than the first.
This year Valentines day falls at the end of a relatively serious weekend. Rather than this feeling like a romantic day it will seem more like a day of newness. Consideration will be towards ironing out any tensions between people and the New Moon on the morning of the 14th will continue the initiative to implement new ideas in a whole hearted manner.
The third week begins very positively on the 15th with warm passions and deeper commitment to goals and partners. Most will be feeling more content this week to appreciate what we have, and be more innovative and focussed in our view to the future.
It looks to be a rather quiet weekend (19th – 21st) to follow with no major aspects, simply a desire to relax ready for the week ahead.
The 22nd and 23rd will be a little frustrating with niggles, misunderstandings and over-emotional sensitivities. Having had an exciting mid-month it may look as though there are mountains to climb, but this month Mars is still retrograde and whilst we are becoming closer to clarifying our visions, patience is still required before true change can be manifest.
The 27th and 28th are creative days and the month ends on a creative vibe with the desire to share kind words, open our hearts and shed any remaining barriers before the Spring. Spend this last weekend being open and loving and creative with those you are close to. Be candid, open, honest and accommodating and the month will end on a high.
