New Moon in Pisces, Monday 11th March 2013 at 7:51pm

New Moon in Pisces, Monday 11th March 2013 at 7:51pm
Last year, during the run up to the 'Armageddon hype' a few people asked me whether it was true; that the planets 'lined-up' in an unusually auspicious way on 21st Dec 2012, indicating great change?  The answer was 'no, not in the slightest"~and I explained the last time I saw a large line-up of planets which looked significant was in May 2000 when there were 7 planets in Taurus, just prior to the New Moon. {Mars moved into Gemini just before the event}.

What I hadn't noticed at this point was the amazing stellium of Pisces planets due to occur in March 2013.  This time Mars waits for the new Moon before gate-crashing out of Pisces into its favourite fire sign, Aries.
So this is officially the most profound line-up I've seen in my lifetime (those of you who were around in February 1962 would have experienced 7 planets lined up in Aquarius also).

Interestingly, the previous dates I cite were both line ups of; Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn.  What a focussed chart those who were born at these times have!

On Monday 11th March we have: Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Chiron, Neptune (and Eros!).  Neptune the ruler of Pisces, a planet which takes 165 years to complete a cycle is at home, hosting the party!

So what does this mean?  Well it's only a new Moon, it's not an Eclipse, there are no major outer planet aspects dictating significant events on this day.  I don't expect any major events in the news, or life changing experiences for most, those born with the Sun in Pisces will be experiencing big changes when Chiron and Neptune reach the position of your Sun, but only those born from 19th - 24th February will have felt the changes of Neptune (though Chiron has reached later Pisceans now ~contact me if you are a Pisces needing to know more about this!!).  Certainly for Pisceans this is a very interesting time, and will be for the next few years to come.

For the world the Piscean influence is a magical balm, assuaging the intense upheaval the Uranus (in Aries) - Pluto (in Capricorn) square is demanding.  This month is a respite from the stress, the worry and the concerns.  The new moon marks the pinnacle of escapism; beginning a week of light-hearted, creative, co-operative communications.

Mercury is still retrograde, computers, transport and conversations are all subject to delays and confusion but it's a gentle Mercury retrograde.  There is humour to be found in miscommunications and the intensity of recent months has already lifted significantly.

The chart for the new Moon shows the Sun-Moon in the 6th house of day to day duties and health.  If you want to begin a new healthcare regime this is a good time to start, it's a good day for beginning creative projects or planting also.  Four of the Pisces planets are in the 5th House of this chart which brings romance into the picture ~what a shame the new Moon falls on a Monday evening!  With Mercury still retrograde however it probably isn't a day to begin a new relationship, but to discuss any issues which already exist with those you care for.

In fact as this is a very healing new Moon, it is a perfect time to settle any rifts, and speak from the heart.  Take the opportunity now, as, by the time Mars moves into Aries people won't be quite so receptive and forgiving.

Chiron is all about being able to express your truth despite the fear of reprisal.  Feeling the fear and somehow managing to remember that we are all connected and rejection is only a manifest of the ego.  This is the message of Chiron and in particular ~Chiron in Pisces asks us to transcend the ego and allow our true natures to shine.  We are all part of the same consciousness and we need to work together in order to rebuild our ruptured, unloving society.

This is a period of change ~ as all periods are~ and the New Moon on Monday is symbolic of the bigger picture that Chiron and Neptune in Pisces are working behind the scenes to paint.  The true message on a deeper spiritual level is that it is possible to see beyond the appearance of what we are told is important ~by sitting and feeling ~through our inner selves~ what actually matters.

Which is love and everything which helps to manifest that.  Pisces is the sign which knows this best of all and this is why Venus is exalted here.

Much love to you all
